It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Gallup Schroeder (James Island, South Carolina), born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jessen Schroeder and Elizabeth Gallup Schroeder; and his brother George Fredrick Schroeder. He is survived by: his wife Emily Smith Schroeder; his children, Michelene S. Ferguson (Michael) of Lincolnton, GA and Walter Michael Schroeder (Christina) of Atlanta, GA; his sister Jeannie S. Lindler of Columbia, SC; and his grandchildren, Darby Kress, Emily Behrens Ketchum, Elizabeth Ferguson, Marcus Ferguson, Mollie Reid, Jessie Schroeder, Colin Molloy, Matthew Molloy and Benjamin Molloy. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
