He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Henrietta Phillips Myers; his parents, Ubie Ballentine Myers Sr. and Jeanette Estelle Scott Myers; his children, Glenn Allen Myers and Gail Ruth Myers Miller; his brothers, John Cleveland Myers, Sr. and Julius Robert Myers; his half-siblings, James "Buster" L. Myers, Clarence Roy Myers, David C. Myers, Wyona M. Mizzell and Leona M. Moore; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Marsengill and Richard Mirabella, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Marcus Raymond Myers, Sr. of Charleston, SC and Karen Lee Myers Ashworth (Keith) of Charleston, SC; his brother Ubie B. Myers, Jr. of Cottageville, SC; his half-siblings, Annette M. Powers of Georgetown, SC, Joyce Ann Mizzell of Moncks Corner, SC and Charles W. Myers of Alvin, SC; his grandchildren, Jennifer Creighton of Gainesville, GA, Amy Myers of Charleston, SC, Charles Ashworth, Jr. of Charleston, SC, Heather Riley of Charleston, SC, Sarah Myers of Charleston, SC, Rebecca Trotter of Austin, TX, Rachel Newbury of Buda, TX and Marcus Myers, Jr. of Austin, TX; and his caregiver Sallye Hunter. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy City Church or Victory Baptist Church.
