She is survived by: her husband Douglas C. McKelvey; her children, Keashia McKelvey Smalls (Elijah), Douglas C. McKelvey, Jr. (Sonja) and Terrance R McKelvey; her grandchildren, Corey Moore (Becky), Charli L. McKelvey, Douglas C. McKelvey, III, Savannah McKelvey and Nalani McKelvey (Terrance R. McKelvey, II); her great grandchildren, Eva Moore, Malia Moore and Kayden McKelvey; her siblings, Bernice Murray, Katie Mae Brown, Ruth Stanley, Bertha Brown, Rosalee Brown, Harry Heyward (Gloria), James Brown (Tonya), Nelson Brown, Jr. and Robert Brown (Yvonne); and her siblings-in-law, Martha Campbell, Jeanette Sherman, Sylvia Wamer (Isadora), Terri Aiken, Anthony McKelvey (Leomy) and Andrew McKelvey (Evangeline).
