She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Joe Grant; and her parents, Johnny Henderson and Julia Green Henderson. She is survived by: her children, Bernard Hamilton (Bianca), Ike Kinloch (Lucy), Karen Sparks, Marvin Grant, Jehosheba M. Ransome (Micah), Leona G. Fleurinord, Leonza Grant (Yona), Rodney Elliott (Geraldine), Cary Grant (Tyesha) and David Grant (Lynn); her sisters, Julia Taylor, Rosalee Henderson, Sarah Tyce, Shirley Scott (Leroy) and Harriett Ellen McKinnie (Ronald); her siblings-in-law, Eula Lee Grant, Corrine Grant, Hermina Champaigne (Luther), Joyce Walker, John Grant (Kathleen), Natheniel Grant (Jacqueline), James Grant (Alethia), Robert Grant (Nadine), Randolph Grant (Hazel) and Melvin Hamilton; and her close friends, Dorothy Lemon and Irene Barber. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
