It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Cordray (James Island, South Carolina), born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on May 26, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Theresa Griser and John Allen Cordray; and his sisters, Theresa Preston and Bernice Castillo. He is survived by: his children, John Allen Cordray, Jr. (Joy) and Debby Bryant (Tom); his grandchildren, Johnny Cordray, IV (Shelby), Joanna Cordray, Abbie O'Toole (Brett), Ashley Auerbach (Steven), Emily, Hayley, Connor, Callie, Sydney and Johnny V "Grey"; and his sister Margaret Davis of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of the Nativity Building Fund, 1061 Folly Rd, Charleston, SC 29412 and/or Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Rd, Charleston, SC 29412.
