She was predeceased by: her husband George Northrup Smith; and her parents, Ruben E. Sweatman and Ida E. Sweatman (Grooms). She is survived by: her children, Jeannette S. Bayliss (James) of Charleston, George N. Smith, Jr. (Carol) of Chapin, SC, Sherry E. Hensel (John) of Charleston, Anthony Perry Smith of Ft. Myers and Michael G. Smith (Barbara) of Chapin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
