It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Horace Moody Williams of James Island, South Carolina, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moody Williams and Maggie Cribb; and his siblings, Edith (Robert) and Winfred (Mary Alice) of Hemingway, SC.. He is survived by: his spouse Weda Mae Williams; his stepmother Mamie; his children, James Delance "Lanny" and Debbie (Andy) of James Island, SC.; his grandchildren, Michelle Watson of Charleston, Matthew Rahn (Lizzie) and Travis Rahn of Atlanta, GA; his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Walker and Luke; and his sister Elise Nations. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
