With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald T Pothier of James Island, South Carolina, born in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 11, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Pothier and Jeannette Pothier; and his siblings, Lucille Pothier-Nelson and Raymond Pothier. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his son Michael Pothier (Thanh); his grandson Brady Pothier of Mansfield, TX; his daughter Christie Pothier of James Island, SC; his brother David Pothier (Laurie) of East Freetown, MA; and his siblings-in-law, Don Nelson of Oahu, HI, Richard LeVasseur of Hinsdale, MA and Genne LeVasseur of Dalton, MA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Intrepid Hospice of Charleston or American Stroke Association.
