He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Shoesmith and Mary Jane Shoesmith (Corbishley); his wife Patricia; and his brother Albert Shoesmith. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Robison (Mark), Daniel Shoesmith and Donna Chace (Oren); his grandchildren, Katlyn Straup (Ryan), Kyle Chace (Katie), Brett Robison (Robbin) and Brad Robison (Katie); his great grandchildren, Chelsea, Cameren, Austin, Hudson, Hayden, Aubree and Riley; and his caregivers, Carolyn Coaxum and Yolanda White.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the McAlister-Smith Funeral Home (347 Folly Rd, Charleston, SC 29412).
