It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blake Brisbane of James Island, South Carolina, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Ja'Da N. Brisbane; his parents, Swackie Brisbane and Inez Blake Brisbane; his grandparents, James and Maria Black Brisbane; and his siblings, Elias Brisbane, Swackie Brisbane, Jr., Carlotta Bickham and George Brisbane.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Greene Brisbane; his sons, Rodney Kent and Averi Brisbane; his grandchildren, Peyton I. Brisbane, Rodney Kent, Jr., Ja'linn T. Brisbane, Wyndell L. Kent and Dominic T. Brisbane; and his siblings-in-law, Ida M. Greene, Bernice Brisbane, Janie Smith, Alnetha West, Barbara Stoney, Sarah Brisbane, Samuel Cohen and Wille Cohen.
