He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Verner Lee James and Beulah Mae James of Jacksonboro, SC.; his daughter Kelly Tonya Mitchell; his grandchildren, Taneisha D. Mitchell, Marquisha M. Morris, Marsha M. Morris, Quiara M. Morris and Ronald Anthony, Jr.; his adoptive daughter Taina Darby; his great grandchildren, Ronelle Anthony, Jr., Jaquelle Anthony, Christian Palencia and Mya Duncan; his aunt Mary James; and his siblings, Nydia James and Stanley James. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
