It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenny Starke of Jackson, South Carolina, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Leonard Starke Jr. and Irene Hatch Starke; his siblings, Isaac Starke Sr. and Sarah Lynette Starke; and his nephew Sergio Villalobos.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey D. Faircloth (Amber Furr) of Swansea, SC, James Callan of Grand Rapids, MI., Cynthia Callan of Grand Rapids, MI and Nicole Otten of Heyward, CA; his grandchildren, Jordan Callan, Jeremiah Callan, Earline Callan, Elijah Moxley, Emanuel Otten, Ella Otten, Neo Faircloth, Marina Faircloth, Lucas Callan and Natalii Callan; his siblings, Karrene Hindman (Greg) of Williston, SC, Leah Moseley (Steve) of Aiken, SC, Ruth Woodfin (Nolan) of Powhatan, VA, Willie Leonard Starke III (Denise) of Gum Spring, VA and John Starke (Susan) of Lawrenceville, VA; and his close friend Deborah Hourdin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
