He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Findley; and his parents, L. P. Findley and Peggy McNeely Findley. He is survived by: his children, Kelvan Dean Findley and Amanda May Dove of Jackson, SC; his sister Kay Lawrence (Jim) of Fredericksburg, VA; and his grandchildren, Brandon T. Dove and Stevanie J. Joyner.
