She was predeceased by: her parents, William Simpson and Cecil Simpson; and her son Bryan Spence. She is survived by: her husband Clay W. Spence; and her children, Tommy Spence (Sara), Gregg Spence (Sandra) and Joy Stevens (Pete). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
