She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene "Doc" Steed and Eunice Elma McClain Steed; and her son Marc Wayne Norton. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Ray Norton; her sons, Ensley Orden Adams of Aiken and Michael Ray Norton (Leigh) of Aiken; her granddaughters, Lauren Michelle Norton and Allison Norton Pebbles (Daniel); her sister Priscilla Polson of Jackson, SC; and her nieces, Karen Bunch (Ronnie), Emily Stoffelen (Peter) and Tracy Sanford (Lennie).
