She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hendley and Bonnie Hendley; her brother Randy Graves; and her brother-in-law James Gerald. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Dan Gerald; her children, Elder Yatch Gerald (Tammie) of Columbia and Danielle Gerald of Mullins; her sister Candace Shontae Hendley of Washington, D. C.; her niece Virnada Graves-James; her aunts, Orgae Mae Johnson, Laura Hendley and Janie Ruth Hendley; her siblings-in-law, Johnny Smith (Fannie), Henry Gerald (Polly), Thurman Gerald (Ellen), Oscar Gerald (Mary Ruth), Daisy Gerald and Gloria Carmichael (James); her godchildren, Jessica McNeil, Leon Allen, Rev. Eric Baker and Renee Baker; her nieces and nephews, Armoni Baker and Javion Hendley; and her godmother Minister Queen Huggins. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
