She was predeceased by: her husband Walter L. Shead; and her parents, John A. Wilkie and Catherine Odear Wilkie. She is survived by: her children, Robert Goss (Penny), Jimmy Goss, Walter Shead (Quida), Wayne Shead (Paula) and Tonya Nichols; and her sisters, Vera Surrett, Betty Wilkie, Johnnie Henderson and Wanda Mae McNallie. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
