It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Mays of Iva, South Carolina, born in Joanna, South Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Oswalt and Frances Oswalt; and her children, Dale South and Teresa Gaines. She is survived by: her siblings, Curtis Oswalt Jr. and Mollie Cieluch; and her granddaughters, Melissa Soccio (Doug Soccio), Bunnie Shirley (Chris Shirley), Paige South and Ashley South. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
