It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Edward Bolt of Iva, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Edward Bolt, Sr. and Lucille Harbin Bolt; his daughter Beverly Bolt; and his brothers-in-law, Ernie Gentry and Bill Fowler.
He is survived by: his wife Ronda G. Bolt; his sons, Tim Bolt (Tammy) and Jim Bolt; his grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha, Casey, Christina, Matthew and Grace; his sister Elaine Fowler; his siblings-in-law, Wayne Gentry (Karen) and Miriam Gentry; his nieces and nephews, Cindy Hayes, Hailey Johnson (Ren), Nathan Gentry, Jenny Padgett (Daniel), Hannah Watt, Erica Wallace (Marc), Will Fowler and Katie Stancil (John); and his brother Terry Bolt (Ann). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
