He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Hudgens and Gartrell Hudgens; his nephew Donnie Dyar; and also Ryan Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Janis B. Hudgens; his children, April Johnson, Angela Whitmire (Brandon), John Mayfield (Jessica), Jason Mayfield (Amy) and Taylor Stephens; his sister Margaret Dyar (Donald); his grandchildren, Kayla Attaway (Travis), Amber Vanadore (Dean), Kendall Johnson, Ryker Johnson, Taylor Whitmire (Christina), Carson Whitmire, Olivia Whitmire, Elijah Mayfield, Mya Mayfield, Hudson Mayfield, Layla Mayfield and Brooklyn Mayfield; and his great grandchildren, Colton Hudgens, Kylie Attaway, Walker Vanadore and Waylon Whitmire.
