He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet Hood Scott and James Thomas Scott; his siblings, Peggy Scott, Stella Scott Spear, Janice Rainey, Harry Scott and James Scott; and his grandsons, Terrance Smith and Landis Osbey.

He is survived by: his niece Shirley Spear Smith; his daughter Gwen Bradley of Anderson, SC; and his siblings, Anna Jean Robinson of Sylam, CA, Cheryl Tuner of Palm Desert, CA and Monroe Scott (Sarah) of Pendleton, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
