It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert James Powell (Iva, South Carolina), born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Powell and Bertha Powell; his siblings, Jenny Whitman, Annie Ruth Rogers and Larry Cox; and his nephew Jody Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Diann Hilley Powell; his daughters, Robin Nemeth (Michael), Annemarie Dodgens (Rick) and Nikki Sheriff (Kevin); his siblings, Fudd Powell, Roscoe Powell (Tonda), Smiley Powell (Deborah), Gerald Cox (Joyce), Lindell Cox, Winford Cox, Margaret Craft (Millard) and Sarah Timms; and his grandchildren, Lauren Greer (Justin), Jake Pierce, Addie Carter, Bailey Dodgens, Jed Dodgens, Remy Sheriff and Rabb Sheriff.
