She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Nelson and Lila Mae Hill Nelson; and her husband Hubert Eugene Hanks. She is survived by: her sons, Anthony O. Hanks (Donna) and Michael E. Hanks (Michelle); and her brother Bill Nelson of Lowndesville, SC. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The First Baptist Church of Iva or the Iva Rescue Squad.
