He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dewitt Blackwell and Betty Loraine Brown Davis; and his sisters, Betty "Bonnie" Sorrow and Cathy Elaine Gilliam. He is survived by: his wife Anita Blackwell; his children, Scotty Morris, Shalon Beusse (Andrew) and Stephen Blackwell (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Braylen Long, Krew Blackwell, Darsey Beusse and Lawton Beusse; and his siblings, Dorothy Dale Willis, Shirlon Crocker and Toney Blackwell.
