It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Burgan (Iva, South Carolina), born in Coldiron, Kentucky, who passed away on May 13, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Burgan and Josie Blanton Burgan. He is survived by: his wife Alice Johnson Burgan; his children, Rick Burgan (Carmie) of Simpsonville, Edwin 'Ed Burgan (Sue) of Anderson and Lori Ann Wilkerson (Rick Wilkerson) of Washington State; and his sister Jo Ann Brown of Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
