It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Eugene Brewer of Iva, South Carolina, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Amanda Brewer; his siblings, Earl Brewer Jr., Laverne Brewer and Jane Dickson; and his grandchild Shiann Brewer.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Brewer and David Brewer; his stepdaughter Dina Gleason Whitfield; his siblings, Wayne, Keith, Robert Brewer (Nancy Brewer) and Sharon Tugwell (Ken Tugwell); his grandchildren, Zack Brewer, Justin Lamb, Adriana Lamb, Briana Whitfield and Brian Whitfield; and his great grandchild Elijah "Eli" Pace. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Cancer Association of Anderson County (not affiliated with the Cancer Society), 215 E. Calhoun Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
