He was predeceased by: his father Clifton Gentry; and his sister Sandra Bratcher. He is survived by: his mother Grace Gentry; his son Edward Troy Gentry; and his siblings, Harold Ellis Gentry, Bobby Gentry, Samantha Bowman and Tony Gentry. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
