We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2022, at the age of 89, Clara Hatcher Hayes of Iva, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo David Hatcher, Sr. and Lona McClain Fowler Hatcher; and her siblings, James Albert Fowler, Sr., Cleo David Hatcher, Jr. and Alice Cunningham.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas E. Hayes (Vera) and Arleane H. Gales; her grandsons, Sandy Hayes (Meredith), Dusty Hayes (Mary), Watson Hayes and Rankin Chapman (Lacie); her great grandchildren, Kristen Savage (Jeff), Rebecca Ward and Daegan Chapman; her special little buddy Mason Hart; and her sister-in-law Vivian Hatcher. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will be the residence and ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial be made to PAWS, 1320 Hwy. 29 South, Anderson, SC 29626.
