He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Columbus Fitzhenry and Daisy Roden Fitzhenry; his wife Ruth Phyllis Burton; and his sister Josephine Fitzhenry Hodge of Kerrville, TX.. He is survived by: his grandson James; his children, Charles Michael Fitzhenry (Dottie) of Summerville, SC, Mark Burton Fitzhenry (Wendy) of Charleston, SC, Sharon Lee Fitzhenry of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Linda Fitzhenry Campbell (Ron) of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Charles Michael Fitzhenry, II (Jill) of Charleston, SC, Mary-Margaret Fitzhenry Noland (Carter) of Marietta, GA, Lauren Fitzhenry Zimmerman (Tait) of Wasilla, Leslie Fitzhenry O'Steen (Brooks) of Naples, Austin Mark Fitzhenry, Shannon Michelle Fitzhenry and Katelyn Grace Fitzhenry; and his great grandchildren, Tait, Miles, Matthew, Ian Zimmerman, Stratton Noland, Charles, III, Maxwell, Tucker Fitzhenry, Benjamin Gardner, Madelyn, Collette Zimmerman, Avery, Haley Campbell and Anneli Gardner.
