She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison William Stuthers and Lottie Boyster Stuthers; her husband Lorell Alphin; and her siblings, Edward, William "Bill", Edna, Roy, Maggie, Ellie, Susie, Carl and Otis.
She is survived by: her children, Gary R. Alphin (Jeanne) and Sondra F. Hines (Frank); her great grandchildren, Samuel J. Karlin, Isabella M. Karlin, Paul D. Karlin and Jacob A. Karlin; and her sister Linda Stanfield. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
