She is survived by: her former husbands, Gordon L. Brett and James T. Elder; her siblings, Carolynn Marshall, Wesley, Remear, Alton, Thurmon Hughes, Davis and Corrine Eaddy; her children, Sara Elizabeth, Guy Brett (Stephanie Brett) of Myrtle Beach and Neal Brett (Nicki Roloff) of Garden City; her grandchildren, Mason Brett, Holden Brett, Kristen Elise Scolari, Erica Scolari, Hunter Morris and Ivy McCormick; her brother Pastor Clark Hughes (Pastor Betty Hughes) of Isle; and her sister-in-law Susan B. Goodwin of Massachusetts.
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks memorial contributions be made in Joyce's name to the charity of one's choice.
