She was predeceased by: her parents, Hammie Rahn and Maggie Rahn of Islandton; her husband Willis; her daughter Carolyn Murdaugh; and her brother Lynell Rhan.
She is survived by: her children, Jack (Ernie Hughes), Robert Martin of Rum Gully, Debbie Martin Jones of Islandton and Alice Martin Givens (Mark) of Ruffin; her son-in-law Homer Murdaugh of Islandton; her sisters, Rachel Bryan of Ruffin and Vivian Padgett of Islandton; her siblings-in-law, Ted Kinard (Becky) and Joyce Breland of Walterboro; and her pet River. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, several step grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
