He is survived by: his parent Pearl Varn; his children, Ann Barnes Maury of Nantucket, Oliver Lee Barnes, Jr. (Mary Margaret) of Islandton, Mary Barnes Knox (George) of McKinney and John Charles Barnes (Robin) of Walterboro; his grandchildren, Chris Maury, Michael Maury, Elizabeth Konetchy, Oliver Lee Barnes, III, Jesse Barnes, Emma Barnes, Drew Knox, Christopher Knox, Laurel Smith, Sophia Judge, Olivia Laird, Victoria Hall and Michaela Busch; and his siblings, Grace Caldwell of New Ellenton and Marion Edward Barnes of Islandton.
