Hatchell, Harold Hatchell and Wanda Hatchell Ackerman (Wayne); his sister Shirley Nettles Dulaney (Roy); his sisters-in-law, Fortune Smoak Bishop (Paul), Sally Smoak Bagby and Diane Smoak; his nephew Shane Bastain; and his close friends, Larry Rahn, Tommy Long and James Benton.
