He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Nelson Moore and Alma Acacia "Cashie" Brown Moore; his granddaughter Amber Morgan Freeman; and his siblings, Alma Moore Tosten of Virginia and Walter C. "Curt" Moore, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Judy" Dopson Moore of Islandton; his children, Rhonda Lynn Moore Johnson (David) of Varnville, David Forbes Jr. of Islandton and Sam Chaney of Islandton; his grandchildren, Lainey Johnson, Hunter Johnson (Katy), Ashley Guffey (Brian), Kent Tisdale II and Tiffany Burnett; his great grandchildren, Adison Crosby, Graham Crosby and Buchanan Burnett; his nephews, Walter "Butch" Moore Jr. and Randy Lee Moore; his friend Sandy Richardson; and also Cindy Davis.
