He was predeceased by: his wife Kathy Padgett Bishop; his parents, Wendell Kenneth Bishop and Eleanor Sanders Bishop; and his brother Wayne Kenneth Bishop. He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Bishop of Islandton; his brother Victor Barry Bishop of Islandton; and his siblings-in-law, James A "Jimmy" Padgett, Jr. (Becky) of Barnwell and Debra P. Schaekel (Bill) of Columbia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and honorary grandchildren.
