It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wayne Rush of Irmo, South Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Wayne Rush to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Marion Rush and Mary Elizabeth Rush (Talbert); his wife Gloria Wilkie Rush; his sister Mary Jacqueline Rush; and his daughter Tina Lorraine Rush.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Gay Haugen (Scott E. Haugen) and Joel Craig Rush (Tracy Montgomery Rush); his grandchildren, Hunter Scott Haugen (Meghan), Andie Jael Reavely (Taylor), Grayson Rush Haugen (Kate), Cale Vincent Haugen (Victoria), Elizabeth Montgomery Rush, David Heriot Rush and Jonathan Talbert Rush; his great grandchildren, Kate Haugen, Declan Haugen, Ellanie Haugen, Cedar Reavely, Eden Reavely and Emma Haugen; and his brothers, David Francis Rush (Becky) and Charles Patrick "Pat" Rush. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blyth Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1425 Montague Ave, Greenwood, SC 29649). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Troy Cemetery Cemetery.
