She was predeceased by: her parent Jessie Hicks Bouknight; her husband Bennie; her son Mitchell Poole; her father William Bouknight; and her siblings, Helen Craft, Mabel Jennings and Monroe Bouknight.
She is survived by: her children, Joye King (Randy) and Garrett Poole; her stepgranddaughter Jessica Osborne; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Abby and Will Osborne; her caregiver Carolyn Bivines; and her pet Josie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Lutheran Church (1725 Old Tamah Rd, Irmo, SC 29063). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Lutheran Church.
