It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mabel Hipp Amick of Irmo, South Carolina, born in Prosperity, South Carolina, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hipp and Betsy Hunter Hipp; and her siblings, George, Emory, Ray Hipp and Shirley Hipp Bowers.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Amick; her children, Lynn Amick, Cathy Wendell of Lexington and Hal Amick (Beth) of Irmo; her grandchildren, Corey Amick (Summer) of Little Mountain, Jordan Amick (Kristen) of Little Mountain, Robbie Asghari of Irmo and Layla Mathis (Chris) of Chapin; her great grandchildren, Easton, Noah, Walker, Savanna Mable, Lauren Elizabeth, Colton, Levi, Jacob, Katelynn and Finn; and her sisters-in-law, Minnie Hipp and Janice Hipp. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
