John W. Freeman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. Freeman of Irmo, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Freeman and Eunice Freeman; and his brothers, Fred "Ashley" Freeman and Randolph "Laverne" Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Newton Freeman; his sisters, Georgia Ward, Carolyn Richardson (Bobby) and Denna Howell (Jim); and his brother-in-law Sonny Newton (Jenny). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, and an aunt.
