Metze of Irmo, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2024 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. and Verdell (Renee); and his close friend Beverly Smith. He is survived by: his sons, James Jr. and Andrew (Brittany); his grandsons, James III and William; his siblings, John "Bucky" and Dianne Clark; and his pets, Sage, Gus and Deets.

The family asks that you contribute to a charitable cause of your choice in Jim's honor in lieu of flowers.
