She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Martha Clark Williams and James Daniel Williams; her stepmother Minnie Way Williams; her son-in-law Ted Clyburn; and her siblings-in-law, Sam Johnston and Betty Williams.

She is survived by: her husband H. P.; her daughters, Sylvia Johnston Clyburn, Barbara Esther Johnston and Phyllis Johnston Maier (Charles); her siblings, Kathleen Williams Johnston, Mary Ann Williams, James Daniel Williams, Jr. and Burnett Rhett Williams (Becky); her grandchildren, William Porter Tiller (Lisa), Jennifer Clyburn McMaster, Phillip Warren Clapp (Josie), Ashley Esthel Kirchner, Charles Albert Maier, Jr., Christopher Chadwick Maier and Megan Maier Hamilton; and her stepgrandsons, Michael Douglas Clyburn (Diane), Robert Douglas Clyburn (Jessie) and Brian David Clyburn (Stephanie). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, one step great-grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
