With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Erna Neugebauer Aderholdt (Irmo, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 96. As we bid adieu to Erna's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Erna has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Engelbert Neugebauer and Maria Wagner Neugebauer; and her husband John Wrey Aderholdt, Jr.. She is survived by: her son John (Jill); her grandchildren, Ashley (Ray) and John; and her great grandchildren, Cayden, Hunter and Clayton.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bush River Memorial Gardens (5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212).
