As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Eon Jared may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He is survived by : his parents, Richard Mellitz and Diane Mellitz; his son Asher Mellitz; his sister Elisha Mellitz Byrne (Douglas Byrne); and his nephew Miles Byrne (Valentina Quetglas). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel (7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia, SC 29223). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at the Hebrew Benevolent Society Cemetery (720 Blanding St, Columbia, SC 29201).
