He is survived by: his parents, Richard Mellitz and Diane Mellitz; his son Asher Mellitz; his sister Elisha Mellitz Byrne (Douglas Byrne); and his nephew Miles Byrne (Valentina Quetglas). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
