She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gorton and Sarah Gorton; her brothers, Bruce Gorton and Lynn Gorton; and her grandson Douglas Roberts.

She is survived by: her children, Candace Roberts (Thomas) of Jamestown, N. C., David Cook (Robyn) of Freehold, N. J., Donald Cook (Tammer) of Irmo, S. C. and Clifford Cook (Amy) of North Chili, N. Y.; and her sister-in-law Loretta Gorton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
