Clarence Hoover Jones Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2024, at the age of 94, Clarence Hoover Jones of Irmo, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior Floyd Jones and Leona Hiers Jones (Crosby); his significant other Ruth Nipper Jones; and his wife Barbara Snyder Jones. He is survived by: his children, Steve Jones of Lugoff, Debbie Gurley (Chris) of Columbia, Gary Jones (Juli) of Blythewood and Deidre Cousins (Billy) of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Kelly Carr (Brent), Steven Jones (Caroline), Anna Britt (Chip), Clint Jones (Wyatt), Cara Jones, Sam Jones (Michelle), Will Cousins (Katelyn) and Ben Cousins (Maia).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Palmetto Church of Christ.
