She was predeceased by: her father Larry Helms; and her husband Ron Cox. She is survived by: her mother Wilma Helms; her daughter Ronda Thompson (Paul); her granddaughters, Shelby McDowell (Seth) and Sydney Thompson (Andrew Porter); her great grandchildren, Callie and Brantley McDowell; her sisters, Cathy Muckenfuss (George) and Susan Cain; and her niece Dory Hand.
