Anita Derrick Weed Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Derrick Weed of Irmo, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Derrick and Lula Mae Metz Derrick; her husband Brady D. Weed, Sr.; her siblings, Luvelle D. Terrio, Katherine D. Rich and Eugene Derick; her daughter-in-law Dell Weed; and her grandson Brady D. Weed, III.
She is survived by: her sons, Brady Jr., Ronnie (Joanie) and Allen (Shay); her grandchildren, Travis Weed (Allison), Kelli Covington (Trey), Katelyn Lowden (Chase) and Claire Weed; her stepgrandchildren, Sean and Jenna Flathmann; and her sister-in-law Lorine W. Shealy. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063).
