Though Allene Attaway may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Derriso Johnson and William Johnson; and her husbands, R. P. Attaway, Jr. of Millen and Ancil Hatfield of Greenwood, SC.. She is survived by: her children, Julie Attaway Wetherell (Stan) and Ronnie Attaway (Sharon); her granddaughters, Casey Wetherell and Sarah Wetherell Jones (Ken); and her great grandchild Emma DuRant.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Millen Cemetery (1029 College Ave, Millen, GA 30442). A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
