He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Nation (James) and J. D. Nation. He is survived by: his wife Sue Gowan Nation; his sons, Steve Nation (Cindy) of Lawrenceville, GA and Bill Nation (Vicki) of Chattanooga, TN; his sister Florine Clayton of Greer, SC; and his grandchildren, William "Trey" Nation (Hannah), Heather Nation Hess (Dave), Lauren Nation Harrison (Andrew), Lindsay Nation Sketch (Taylor) and Elise Nation. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman United Methodist Church, 27 Bishop St., Inman, SC 29349.
